CCC+TL matches galaxy rotation curves, but it has not yet replaced the usual dark-matter explanation.
Galaxy rotation curves are a sharp test because they connect visible matter to measured motion. CCC+TL offers a different rule for that connection, but the supplied record contains the proponents’ papers and a critical review rather than independent confirmation. The ordinary scientific reading is therefore provisional: an interesting fit, not yet a replacement for the wider ΛCDM framework.
CCC+TL, a model with changing constants and tired light, turns dark matter from missing stuff into a rule we may have misunderstood.
A catalog of 175 galaxies gives CCC+TL a striking target: their rotation curves. The model says changing constants can make ordinary matter look as if dark matter is present, while also allowing a 26.7-billion-year-old universe. A review says the fit may simply encode the data. The real test is whether the rule predicts more than it can be tuned to match.
