Brain-like structure does not make the universe a brain; the comparison is intriguing, but its cause and meaning remain open.
The brain–cosmic-web comparison is a real quantitative result, not merely a pair of striking photographs. Yet the study compares different systems with radically different processes and uses spatial proximity as a neural-network proxy. Similar organization can arise from shared mathematical constraints without implying a cosmic mind, humanoid design, or extraterrestrial engineering.
