A quantum anomaly confirms quantum mechanics only when it separates Many-Worlds from collapse and other interpretations.
Quantum mechanics has repeatedly confirmed interference, entanglement, and the Born-rule statistics, but those results are compatible with multiple interpretations. The ordinary experimental standard is therefore sharper than observing an unusual quantum effect: a test must yield a prediction unique to Many-Worlds. No such result has yet been established.
Parallel worlds have a proposed handshake. Nobody has caught it happening.
An ion trap could, in theory, catch energy leaking between quantum branches, turning alternate histories into a physical channel. But Plaga’s experiment has not been performed, and particle-lifetime tests remain theoretical. Quantum mechanics works beautifully without choosing Many-Worlds. The idea has a test-shaped doorway, not proof.

Do weak measurements allow us to see into parallel realities? ### It depends. Tim Andersen Mar 24, 2023 I have been doing a lot of research on weak measurements and the Many Worlds Interpretation (MWI) of quantum physics. I am a quantum interpretation skeptic and I don’t really subscribe to a partic
