Quantum physics shapes the brain’s matter; no decisive evidence shows it creates consciousness or free will.
Quantum mechanics is unquestionably part of the physical world, but that does not show that neurons sustain useful entanglement or quantum computation. The standard objection is concrete: warm neural tissue rapidly interacts with its environment, while quantum-brain proposals have not supplied decisive evidence that their states outperform classical explanations or generate subjective experience. Free will is not recovered simply by replacing determinism with quantum indeterminacy.
