Havana Syndrome has real symptoms, but no confirmed foreign weapon explains the whole set of cases.
The evidence starts with a mixed group of symptoms rather than a single disease. The 2023 intelligence assessment found no persuasive evidence of foreign responsibility, and later medical work found no consistent brain injury in studied personnel. Microwave biology is real, but the available record does not show that an attack caused these cases.
The microwave pathway is real. The bigger mystery is whether it was hiding inside the illness label.
A high-pitched sound that stopped when people moved points toward a physical pathway, not pure folklore. Microwave auditory effects are real, and expert panels called pulsed RF plausible for a narrow cluster of cases. That opens a sharper question: did external exposure account for some reports later grouped under Havana Syndrome? The public still has reason to press for the full record.
