The sharper anomaly is downstream: third-party vendors have proposed feeding Flock imagery into separate facial-recognition platforms, but available reporting says that integration was proposed rather than active.

The important distinction is between Flock’s onboard functionality and what can happen to imagery after export. Vendors have marketed a possible connector or platform for searching Flock data by face, vehicle, or object. That expands the surveillance implications, even though reporting says the specific integration was not yet active.
