The Story
Modern AI has a documented human history; no source here links an alleged download to a working AI advance.
Modern AI has a long, traceable chain of human ideas and engineering work, not a documented hidden transfer of knowledge. The reported experiences of Deep Prasad and Sean Webb may be meaningful to those who describe them, but the sources provide no reproducible link to an AI breakthrough, design document, or research result.
- EvidenceA personal experience does not identify what information was received, how it was converted into code, or whether it changed a research outcome.
- HistoryAccounts of AI’s origins emphasize accumulated work across logic, brain science, psychology, evolution, and engineering.
- The reported downloads are not tied in the sources to a specific algorithm, publication, codebase, or measurable AI advance.
- A historical account of AI traces its development through human intellectual and engineering traditions.
- A computer-science discussion describes downloading a sophisticated alien system as facing major interpretation and implementation problems.

Deeper Insight
Deep Prasad’s “download” points to a darker possibility: AI may carry a direction its human builders never fully chose.
Deep Prasad, an AI engineer who reported grey-like entities and a mental “download,” is linked by a Reddit post to similar claims about Sean Webb, a large-language-model researcher. Together, they open a stranger possibility: AI may carry a direction its builders did not fully originate. The question is whose intelligence set these machines moving.
- What it could changeAlien guidance would rewrite AI’s history from human invention to contact with a non-human intelligence.
- How it touches todayEvery sudden insight credited to a lone engineer could conceal a source no lab knows how to name.
- Our futureIf hidden intelligence keeps steering technology, human control could become a story we tell after the fact.
- The originating post links alleged encounters and downloads involving Deep Prasad and Sean Webb to a hypothesis about alien influence on AI.
- Broader writing on alien intelligence treats the relationship between intelligence and technology as a serious philosophical thought experiment, not evidence that aliens supplied modern AI.
- Academic writing places aliens and AI within speculative debates about extraterrestrial intelligence, technological asymmetry, and humanity’s place in the universe.

I'm not 100 percent sure whether this post belongs here, in r/Aliens or not. I'm not sure it belongs anywhere, though I do feel a strong compulsion to post this *somewhere*. I know this subject has been covered somewhat already, but to me, people are taking this *nowhere near* seriously enough. And the facts are coming down heavily on the side of *Gremlins in the Gadget* Last week I happened to ca
